Can The Boogie Board Save?

Many people who touch and feel the Boogie Board love the way the stylus slides on the tablet surface and magically leaves a line.

The Boogie Board is super slim at 3mm at the tablet surface portion, and 6mm at the top portion. It's very very light too, at 120grams.

After giving the Boogie Board a go, many ask the question, "Can I save what I've written or drawn?"

The answer is No. The Boogie Board does not have the capability to save what was drawn on it. Well, at least not for this model. I can imagine its usability to save the pictures, but saving-wise, I have come up with a list of things the Boogie Board can save!

The Boogie Board can save :
1. Mother Earth (we have to in anyway we can!)
2. Trees (we all need trees)
3. Strength (carrying stacks of papers and pencils around)
4. Paper (obviously!)
5. Space (it is THIN!)
6. $$$ (no more pens, pencils, paper, WhiteBoards, markers, pencil lead)
7. The Earth (so important I have to state it again!)

And there you have it. The Boogie Board CAN save!

Lion King?

What is the Boogie Board?

Many people have asked us what the Boogie Board is.

Simply put, the Boogie Board is a paper replacer.

We have a 5-year-old who runs through paper as though his father owns a paper mill, which apparently, he doesn't.

He primarily draws dinosaurs, Beyblades and whatever the flavour of the month is. In one sitting, he can singlehandedly finish using, on both sides (because his mother told him to!), a stack of notepads.

Diaries, Filos, Calendars and reams of rough paper have been put aside specially for him.

If you have a pre-schooler, I am quite certain you know what I am talking about. I bet you even do the same.

In pre-Boogie-Board days, he simply has a stack of papers he brings along and a pencil. Not forgetting the compact enclosed sharpener. These days, the Boogie Board sits nicely in the bag, replacing the need of those papers.

Plus, now we don't have to think twice about throwing away those "what is that you drew?" drawings. They are erased.

For those he wants us to remember, he has learnt to ask us to take a picture, which he proudly shows whilst we snap.

After doodling or spelling, he simply presses the Erase button, and the display flashes twice and he's got a new screen to start again! It's purely addictive to him. We know it because he wants to have it with him at all times!

The good news is that he has started practicing his English and Chinese writing on his own, without being told. It's like magic, when you don't have to bring along an eraser or new sheets of paper, so even if he spells it wrongly, he can go,"Aiyahyahyah..", press the Erase button, and start again! That easy!

It's so simple that the 20-month-old guy has taken to it too, asking to "draw, draw!". Amazing!

We will start uploading pictures of various children, some of whom we really don't know, since they play with our Boogie Boards at Food Centres, Restaurants and coffeeshops. Yes, we eat a lot!

We would like to see pictures too, so please send us your pictures of doodles!
